Turbulent natural-convection heat transfer in a square cavity with nanofluids in presence of inclined magnetic field

چکیده

In this paper, we present a numerical study of turbulent natural-convection in square cavity differentially heated and filled with nanofluid subjected to an inclined magnetic field. The standard k-? model was used as the turbulence model. transport equations were discretized by finite volume method using SIMPLE algorithm. influence Rayleigh number, Hartmann orientation angle applied field, type nanoparticles well fraction nanoparticles, on hydrodynamic thermal characteristics illustrated discussed terms streamlines, isotherms mean Nusselt number. results obtained show that heat transfer rate increases increasing number field but it decreases addition, improves use Al2O3 nanoparticles.
